One of the most exciting moments of our lives was when we found out that we were expecting our first child.  From the first time we met Mi we knew we wanted to have her involved in our pregnancy and the delivery of our son.

Words can hardly express our appreciation for your support especially during the labor process.  Having you in the labor room brought us comfort and reassurance as you guided us through this challenging journey.  Your caring disposition, knowledge of the process and understanding of our desires for the birth were invaluable in making this an unforgettable experience.

We are thrilled to have shared this very special life event with you and want to sincerely thank you for everything you did for us. 

We will be sure to tell Alex about all the great things you did in ensuring his safe arrival into this world!

Dear Mi,

It is difficult to put into words how grateful my husband and I are for the positive role that you played throughout my pregnancy and ultimately with the delivery of our son.
With your unwavering support and encouragement you helped create a calm environment in which I was able to relax and have the birth experience I wanted.

From your soothing voice and gentle touch to the reassuring look in your eyes, you were a constant reminder that everything would be all right.  You helped me have the natural labor that I was looking for and this has given me the ability to look back on my labor experience with fondness.

Your presence was just what we needed when both my husband and I were exhausted and struggling through it on our own. Your saying “Mothering the mother” sums it up.  I couldn’t think of a better person to have in the delivery room with us.

Your ongoing support after the birth was also invaluable - who could I trust more to help with my new baby than the angel who helped bring him into the world?

I just wanted to say thank you again for everything. I honestly could not have done it without you.

When people ask me how my labor went, I tell them it was awesome. Of course, they look at me like I'm crazy. But, it really was everything I wanted. I really wanted a natural childbirth and thanks to you and Brian I did it. It was like having my mother there with me. So that and having my husband was the perfect mix of support.

You were amazing! You kept me focused and really gave me the confidence to keep going when it started to get tough. Thank you sooo much Mi!!

A heartfelt thank you from Jason, Sierra and I for the care you provided during my pregnancy and the birth of Triton. Your quick response to our calls gave us comfort in stressful times. We knew that whenever we called, you would answer.

I also greatly appreciated your trips to the cafeteria to get me some better food and the time you spent in my room helping the hours pass.

Your continued presence after the birth allowed Jason to stay in the nursery with Triton, as he knew you would take care of me.

I just wanted to thank you for your tremendous support to me and to Mike during Jack's birth. It was so comforting to have you in the room with us and your gentle and guiding words really made all the difference.

I am still amazed that I was able to deliver him without any drugs. Of course, this is what I had been hoping for, but there was always the thought that if it got too bad, I would ask for medication. As you know, there were times when I wanted to throw in the towel, as I'm sure every woman goes through, but your reassurance and guidance helped me to stay on track.

I know you really made Mike feel comfortable supporting me through the whole process too. He keeps remarking how he always thought he would really be more of an observer than an active participant, and how surprised he was at how involved he really got. I know your presence made all the difference.
